F = Fat: we need to eat more of good sources of fat like nuts, seeds, organic butter and avocados, and less of the refined foods and sugars (ideally none at all!)
A = Adipose (body fat): toxins in our blood stream (introduced through bad food, pollutants etc) are cleaned up by our livers. When we stuff our bodies full of bad stuff, our livers can't keep up and the excess toxins in our blood stream need to be stored somewhere safely. One of these places can be seen in the form of cellulite. Cellulite is a sign that your liver is not able to keep up with the toxins you are introducing to your body. C = Carbs: eat less of these and ideally get them from a natural sources such as vegetables. T = Thyroid: this gland is responsible for driving our metabolic rates and requires (among other things) selenium to work. As we are lacking this in our soils in NZ an easy, natural way of getting your daily dose is to consume 2 Brazil nuts a day. S = Stress: yes, we all have this and that in itself is not a bad thing, it's the perceived level of pressure that's important. Are you stressed or are you just busy? Change the way you think about it. If you are stressed your body is in a fight or flight mode, so instead or driving it into that state further by throwing yourself into high intensity exercise, consider going for a peaceful walk instead to bring you back down to a rest and digest state...or better still, book in for a massage with us!
